Chapter 9

- Writer's POV:
- A few days passed and Seokjun was very calm. He did his best not to anger the guards or Namgyu whenever they came to check on him from time to time just to see if he was behaving right. This gained him some points in his favor.
- Hosun on the other hand remained a brat. Even when Yoonjin had visited him the second day, Hosun had lashed at him and the guard again, cursing and trying to kick his way out of Wonho's tight grip to attack Yoonjin. His behavior worsened and he hated the idea of being locked up. At this point, he preferred to die. He was a lost cause and did nothing but irritate Yoonjin. After visiting him for the second time, Yoonjin stopped coming. He would leave Hosun to rot there.

- "You've been good, Seokjun," Namgyu said casually, pocketing his hands as he stared down at the beautiful man sitting on the couch in his room.
- "This means I get to have some privileges?" Jun asked.
- "Yes. But under one more condition." Namgyu raised his perfect finger.
- "What?" Jun asked with furrowed brows.
- "Your friend has been hysteric."
- "Hosun?"
- "He's been giving us a hard time and my friend has been thinking of killing the fool."
- "No!" Seokjun exclaimed with wide eyes, "Please, don't!"
- "That's where the condition comes in. He'll be brought here. If you're able to make him calm down and change that hostile nature of his, then he'll live. It's either that, or he dies."
- "I will talk to him! Just don't kill him!"
- "Fine. If he does calm down and accepts his fate as you have, then you will be able to leave this room soon." Namgyu stated and headed for the door. He stepped out, leaving Jun alone.

- Taeho stared at a picture of his Hyung with swollen eyes. A whole week and a half. His older brother was nowhere to be found.
- He'd searched and searched, given that he couldn't count on the police. He was broken inside and was losing all hope of ever finding him again.
- "Where are you, Hyung? I need you to come back, please. I know you're alive. I- I hope you're alive."

- Hosun fought the men off, kicking, scratching, and punching as two hefty guards tried to hold him still and blindfold him.
- "Remain still!" Wonho who was watching ordered angrily.
- Hosun continued to shake, trying to pull his arms out of their strong grips. He was a case!
- "Stay still or I'll beat the hell out of you!" Wonho threatened. Though they had been asked not to hurt the prisoners, Hosun was making it real hard for the guards to follow the order.
- Suddenly, Yoonjin appeared and walked straight to Hosun who had not seen him approach. He pulled out a syringe full of a liquid and injected the younger one in the neck. Hosun froze, eyes wide as he looked at Yoonjin in shock. The older injected all the liquid and Hosun went limp, his legs weakening and his arms as well. He immediately passed out.
- "Sheesh. He sure is stubborn." Namgyu mused, appearing at the door.
- Yoonjin frowned at an unconscious Hosun.
- "This is why I hate teenagers," he muttered.
- "He's 21," Namgyu stated.
- "Same difference. He was a teen two years ago and still behaves like one. A real pest." Yoonjin said in his usual monotone voice, turning on his heel to leave.
- "Should've killed him the moment he showed up behind that trash bin. I want to tame him and teach him good manners. I break brats like him."
- "Yes. But only when they're guilty of something. These two are innocent and were caught up in something they weren't supposed to be caught up in."
- "I don't care."
- He walked past Namgyu and out. Namgyu turned to the guards.
- "Take him to the doctor's room," he ordered and they obeyed.

- Jun was surprised when two guards dragged Hosun in and flung him on the bed before leaving. Jun immediately rushed to his drugged friend.
- "Sunny? Sunny??" he tapped his cheek. No movement. He was going to have to wait.
- -
- An hour later, Hosun stirred and opened his eyes to see a pretty face above his.
- "Sunny?? Are you okay??" Jun asked Hosun immediately sat up.
- "Hyung?? You're alive!" Hosun threw his arms around the older and hugged him tightly. Jun hugged him back.
- "They drugged you and brought you here. Are you okay?"
- "Yeah. It's that short piece of shit." Hosun growled, rubbing his forehead.
- "Why did they bring me here? To stay with you."
- Jun went on to tell him about the conditions for them to live and to be treated a little better than they were being treated.
- "Hm. Bullshit." Hosun frowned.
- "Sunny, please. Mr. Kim said he would allow Mr. Min to kill you if you didn't change your attitude."
- Hosun froze and his eyes widened.
- "I don't want them to hurt you, Sunny. I want to leave this place someday. And I want to do so with you by my side. We were brought here together, we'll leave together."
- Hosun was silent.
- "Please, stop fighting them. We're helpless and we can only leave if we're able to prove to them that we can be trusted. It'll take time but for now, we just have to do all they ask us to. Okay?"
- Hosun scrunched his nose, his rebellious self not liking this issue at all. He hated submitting to whosoever and wanted to be free. He didn't want to follow anyone's rules or be accountable to whosoever. Especially not a certain Min Yoonjin whom he despised a lot already.
- "Please, Sunny. Do it for me." Seokjun begged him.
- Hosun sighed, taking in Jun's points. He did want to leave and that was the only option to succeed, for now.
- "Fine, Hyung. But I'm doing it for you."
- "Thank you. First, you have to apologize to Mr. Min."
- "Oh hell no. Rip to me then, Hyung." Hosun gasped, standing and staring at Jun like he was crazy.
- "Sunny-"
- "No."
- Jun sighed. Hosun was going to be hard to convince.
- *.*
- Two days passed and none of the two CEOs had come to check on them.
- However, after a hard struggle, Jun had succeeded in convincing a very reluctant Hosun, to apologize.
- Hosun knocked at their door and a guard outside unlocked and opened it.
- "What do you want?" he growled.
- "Please, call Mr. Min. Tell him, that Hosun, wants to speak with him."
- "Who do you take yourself for??" the guard snapped.
- Hosun frowned.
- "Jung Hosun, you dumb fuck! How dare you-"
- Jun had already pulled Hosun backward and had covered his mouth with a hand.
- "I'm so sorry. Please, forgive him." Jun begged the furious guard.
- "Thing is, Mr. Min, said we should send for him when Hosun would be ready to apologize." Jun lied, hoping the guard would believe.
- "So please, if you could call him for us. Please."
- The frowning guard was silent for a short while.
- "Fine," he grumbled and stepped out.
- Jun finally let Hosun go. He gave Sunny that disappointed loom.
- "What?" Hosun snapped, jumping on the bed. Jun shook his head.
- Minutes later, the door was unlocked and the guard opened the door for Yoonjin who walked in.
- The charismatic man stood straight, hands behind his back and expression blank.
- "Yes, Jung Hosun?" he said in his deep voice.
- Hosun furrowed his brows, suddenly regretting why he'd agreed to apologize.
- Jun elbowed Hosun immediately. Hosun rolled his eyes and stood, approaching Yoonjin.
- "You asked to speak with me." the man stated.
- "Yes," Hosun grumbled and folded his arms.
- "I'm listening."
- Yoonjin was patient. Patiently waiting for the three words that would boost his ego and help the brat in front of him realize, who was the boss. He needed this proud boy to humble up without a choice and accept his fate. He was going to see to that personally. He now saw Hosun as a challenge. The young man had caused so much trouble for his men and he couldn't wait to have him shrink and give up his rebellious attitude.
- All these would happen, once Jung Hosun apologized in the first place.
- Hosun clicked his tongue and put his hands on his hips.
- "Can't believe I'm doing this bullshit." Hosun breathed.
- "Sunny," Seokjun said sternly.
- Hosun sighed and folded his arms again. He stared at his feet and muttered:
- "I am sorry."
- Yoonjin withheld a smirk and maintained a blank expression.
- "Look at me," he demanded to Hosun's surprise.
- Hosun raised his head to look at the handsome man. He had small eyes and his gaze was so intense, that a flush rose to Hosun's cheeks. Yoonjin did not miss that detail. However, he was surprised the boy had the guts to look him in the eyes. Something, not even the guards could do.
- "Now repeat it. Louder, for me to hear." he continued, his voice low and demanding.
- Hosun raised a brow.
- "Excuse you?" he scoffed, eying Yoonjin disrespectfully from head to toe.
- Seokjun was dying of stress.
- "Hosun," he called lowly from behind his friend.
- Hosun sighed and let his arms fall to his sides in defeat. He looked Yoonjin in the eyes and said:
- "I'm sorry, Mr. Min. For causing so much trouble."
- It sounded very fake and practiced. But it was a good start and enough for Min Yoonjin.
- Hosun was surprised when the man smirked a little. It gave him goosebumps for a reason he ignored.
- "You can be sensible when you want to," Yoonjin stated, smirk fading.
- "Apology accepted. You two will be joining us for dinner tonight. It's not a request."
- And with that, he turned on his heel and left the room.
- "I can't stand him," Hosun said bitterly.
- "Thank you, Sunny" Jun giggled and hugged the younger.
