Chapter 12

- Writer's POV:
- The three young men were allowed to walk about freely in the house for the days that followed. Seokjun and Taeho were happy to have found each other and Hosun was glad he was in their company because they always helped him stay positive and see the bright side of things. Taeho and Hosun got along quite well in just a few days, given that they were around the same age and had the same interests when it came to a lot of things like music, sports, movies, their campus, and so on.
- One afternoon, both sat in the guarded gardens, on a bench. Seokjun was inside the house. Both Namgyu and Yoonjin had left for work earlier that morning, as they'd been doing ever since Taeho's arrival. The captives had breakfast without them and sometimes dinner. They were very comfortable during these times when both men were absent.
- Hosun and Taeho chatted about different things until Taeho decided to talk about something a little more serious.
- "What are you going to do if ever you leave, Sunny? You have no home anymore. Nor do you have any property left." Taeho asked, a hint of worry in his tone.
- Hosun sighed.
- "I don't know. I've been trying to think of something for the two weeks I've been captive here and nothing. I don't know. Maybe Bam, that friend of mine I'd mentioned, will be able to take me in for a few days."
- "You said he has a roommate right?"
- "Yeah." Hosun sighed, desperate. "I don't know. I don't like being a burden to other people, you know. I want to have my stuff. I want to repay my debts and be independent. I would've succeeded if that asshole of Min Yoonjin hadn't kidnapped me."
- "By becoming a stripper? It would've been too dangerous. To do stuff like that you need a bodyguard, a Mac, or something. Someone who'll protect you just in case these men you had rendezvous with tried something."
- Hosun shrugged.
- "Mm. I don't care."
- "You're straight. Why didn't you target women?"
- "Because most perverts are men? Who leave their wives and homes to go out and realize their dirty fantasies. Most of them, are hidden, gay men. I might be straight but I'm ready to go to extremes for pay. Men pay better than women."
- Taeho wasn't happy with all his friend was saying. In just a few days, he'd gotten attached to the usually bright boy.
- A guard had begun approaching both boys.
- "You can live with Jun Hyung and–"
- "He already proposed it and I refused, Taeho. I'll find a solution." Hosun cut him, "All I have to do is–"
- "Jung Hosun." the guard that had reached them cut Hosun off, causing the latter to stop talking and turn with a disgusted face.
- "What??" Hosun snapped rudely and Taeho chuckled at an endlessly hostile Hosun.
- The guard frowned and moved his coat so his gun was visible. Hosun gulped. The guard went on,
- "Follow me. Mr. Min has asked that you come to his office."
- Hosun frowned.
- "He's back already?"
- "Yes. Stand."
- The guard grabbed him harshly by the arm and pulled him away before Taeho could speak.
- As he was dragged away, Taeho spotted a shy Jeonkuk stepping out of the house and looking around, his eyes falling on Taeho now and then. He was always followed by that bodyguard of his that stood a distance away, respecting Jeonkuk's personal space.
- Taeho averted his eyes. Feeling bored, he entered the house through a different entrance, going in search of his Hyung.
- Jeonkuk bit his lip and silently cursed to himself. He still felt guilty that Taeho was kidnapped too because of him, though the Kim brothers didn't seem to mind much now that they were reunited.
- He wanted to personally apologize to Taeho again. And maybe get to know him a little? Jeonkuk wanted to know him.
- "You like him, don't you?" Chimin teased and Jeonkuk turned to him immediately.
- "W– what?? No. I–"
- "You have a new crush every single day, Kook." Chimin laughed, "A few days ago you were telling me about a certain classmate of yours, Yugo, and now you're blushing just by looking at the doctor's brother. It was even evident when you first saw him at the hospital when you hurt your ankle." Chimin chuckled.
- "Shut up, Chmin." Jeonkuk frowned and pouted.
- "Sorry, boss." Chimin mused, hands raised as if surrendering. "I understand you though. He's hot as fuck. I wonder if he's gay." Chimin said almost dreamily.
- "Stay away from him," Jeonkuk stated and Chimin smiled.
- "He's not my type, boss. Don't worry."
- Jeonkuk huffed and walked back into the house, followed by Chimin.

- Hosun was taken into one of the home offices where Yoonjin sat, waiting for him.
- "Here he is, boss."
- Yoonjin waved the guard away and he left.
- Hosun stood there, staring at the CEO while the man stared back. Hosun suddenly felt intimidated, like he always ended up feeling when alone in Yoonjin's presence. The man had the most piercing little eyes with an intense gaze that had Hosun shuddering.
- The silence made him uncomfortable, he cleared his throat and spoke.
- "You asked to see me?"
- Yoonjin nodded and leaned in, elbows now on his shiny office desk.
- "Take a seat, Hosun."
- Cursing under his breath, he walked to the table and sat across from Yoonjin.
- Yoonjin observed the boy very well. He wasn't frowning as usual and kept his expression neutral.
- 'A pretty boy he is when he keeps his mouth shut and an ugly frown off his face.'
- Yoonjin thought to himself, observing an uncomfortable Hosun.
- "What will you do if ever I let you go someday?"
- "What?" Hosun was surprised by his question.
- "Did I stutter?" Yoonjin muttered in his deep voice, "Where will you go to if I release you?'
- " I don't know," Hosun mumbled his nervousness increasing.
- "You have no home. No clothes or personal belongings. No money." Yoonjin stated, leaning back into his big office chair.
- "No need to remind me. Tell me something I don't know." Hosun scoffed before staring down at his fingers.
- Yoonjin nodded to himself.
- "I see. You need all that, hunh?" he asked slowly, rubbing his chin.
- Hosun looked up with furrowed brows.
- "Why are you asking when you know the answer? What's it to you??"
- Yoonjin ignored his questions and fixed his glasses.
- "I reformulate. Are you desperate? Do you need some help? Put your ego aside and be honest."
- Hosun swallowed and thought hard. He couldn't lie to himself. He was very, very desperate.
- "Yes," he said with difficulty.
- "Say that again. I didn't hear you."
- Hosun frowned and shut his eyes, swallowing his pride.
- "Yes, I do need help for when I leave this place. If I do leave."
- Hosun was quite surprised when the CEO smirked. The closest thing to a smile, he'd seen on the man's lips. It gave him goosebumps.
- Yoonjin leaned in on his table again.
- "I can give you what you want, Hosun. I'm ready and willing to provide for you so that when I set you free, you'll have enough on you to live well."
- Hosun's eyes widened in hope but then his expression turned into a scowl.
- "You?? Help me? What's the catch? What's all this about?" he asked.
- Yoonjin smirked again, giving Hosun goosebumps one more time.
- "All you need to do is obey me, Jung Hosun. You're very stubborn and troublesome. Do as I say and don't get me mad. Then we'll have a deal."
- "Pft!" Hosun scoffed and stood, "Bye, Mr. Min."
- He marched to the door but halted when the CEO spoke again.
- "Think about it. I'll make you something like a personal assistant to me. Just carry out the work I give you. Be obedient. That's all I ask. If you're up to the task, I'll take care of you and provide for your needs once you leave. That is if I'm satisfied."
- Hosun thought hard and turned.
- "Why does this sound like you're proposing to be my sugar daddy," Hosun said, a little amused at the thought.
- "I'm not gay."
- Yoonjin didn't reply, a smug smirk still on.
- "Do you accept or not, Jung? If you cross that door, the proposal ends. You'll never have the chance again. Plus, what better way to test you and see if you're trustable enough to be set free, than have you around me most of the time?"
- Hosun pursed his lips and thought hard.
- 'I don't like this. At all! I hate his guts and all but I need this. What could go wrong?'
- "Fine." Hosun gave in reluctantly, "I accept."
- Yoonjin smiled a little and nodded. Hosun found it awkward to see him smile, even though he didn't show his teeth. He looked less scary. He looked–
- 'Cute. Very handsome.'
- Hosun thought, swallowing hard.
- "Good choice. Tomorrow you'll follow me to work and we'll see how things go."
- "R– really??" Hosun asked with wide eyes.
- "Yes. But I'll have my eyes on you. Don't try to escape. It's not worth losing your life." Yoonjin said, his stare darkening.
- Hosun knew better.
- "You can leave. I have to go back to the office. I'll see you at dinner, hmm?"
- Hosun nodded before excusing himself. Yoonjin stared after him until he left the office.
- He smiled to himself and leaned back into his chair.
