Chapter 5

  • *.*.*.*
  • Writer's POV:
  • Hosun had succeeded in getting at least eight good men. They'd all taken his number and had planned rendezvous with him. He sure was proud of himself.
  • He made his way to the counter where Bam was serving drinks. He took a seat and Bam immediately approached him.
  • "How's it going?" he asked, shaking the cocktail mixer.
  • "Perfect. I got nine of them. That's enough for the night. I'm disgusted by all of them trying to kiss or touch me." Hosun grimaced.
  • "And you're not even gay. Yet you seduced them like it was nothing." Bam mused.
  • "I know right." Hosun chuckled.
  • Honestly, Hosun didn't even know what he was. He'd had a few sexual relationships with girls here and there to satisfy his needs but honestly, he had no attraction whatsoever to them. Even when he had sex with girls, it was because he forced himself to. Just to satisfy his horny self from time to time.
  • On the other hand, he wasn't attracted to men either. He'd never engaged in any sexual relationship with a guy. When he was fifteen, he'd kissed a few guys because he was bi-curious, trying to figure out if he would be attracted to men since it wasn't the case with the girls. In the end, he disliked every single kiss and concluded that he was not attracted to men. Or women. But it was better to have sex with women than with men in his opinion.
  • "I gotta return to work. Talk to you later." Bam said and left after Hosun gave him a nod.
  • 'Lemme find one more guy, to round it up to ten.'
  • he thought and stood, once again going to hunt.
  • *
  • The wealthy and extremely powerful men sat in the private section of the big club, in one of the rooms. Amongst them, are Kim Namgyu and partner Min Yoonjin.
  • "That's it or nothing." Yoonjin said with a frown, "We get 55% and you 45%. Nothing more."
  • The man seated across them with his men at his side frowned.
  • A drug lord and ruthless mafioso he was. Not someone you would trust but the type you found yourself making business with. He went by the name of Bobby.
  • "Yoons, my friend-"
  • "I am not your friend," Yoonjin replied dryly.
  • "We agreed to this that went the drugs would he delivered, we would get 55% and you 45% because we did most of the work here, getting it shipped to one of our ports." Namgyu stated ever so seriously, "I lost some of my most trustworthy men in the process and there's no way we're sharing this equally."
  • "You know what, Gyu?" Yoonjin started, leaning back into his seat and crossing his legs, "Let's make it 60 for us and 40 for him. You risked nothing like we did, Bobby. You lost none of your most useful men. We had an agreement and made an exchange. You're taking 40%. Take it or leave it."
  • Bobby glared at them, the vein at his temple pulsing and a hard frown on his face. He was not okay with this. At all.
  • "Do you think I came here to play? I want my 45%."
  • Namgyu scoffed.
  • "So now you want the 45% after all? Thought you wanted 50."
  • "Too late. Your ass is getting 40 now." Yoonjin stated, "And that's still generous."
  • A boiling Bobby stood abruptly, fisting the table hard and causing Namgyu's and Yoonjin's men to pull out their guns at the same time Bobby's men did.
  • "This is unacceptable!" Bobby growled and hit the table.
  • "Calm your demons," Namgyu said with a wave of his beautifully manicured hand.
  • "You heard Yoonjin, here. Forty percent."
  • Namgyu sat up and fixed his suit.
  • "Think about it, Bobby. We'll be awaiting your answer tomorrow since you're a little too heated to give us a smart one, now," he said and Bobby could hardly breathe straight because of his anger.
  • Furiously, he turned to his men.
  • "Let's go!" he ordered and stormed past Namgyu and Yoonjin, his men following him.
  • "Toodles." Yoonjin waved at them as they stormed out.
  • Once gone, he turned to Namgyu.
  • "He's a fool for thinking we would give him more than 45. Now he'll have to settle for 40."
  • "I know. He'll accept our offer. He has no choice."
  • Just then, there was a knock at the door and the manager of the club walked in. He bowed to them.
  • "You sent one of your men to get me?" he asked.
  • "Yes, Kihyun. Our meeting is over and we would like you to ask one of your waiters to get us the best champagne bottle you have in stock." Namgyu stated.
  • "Of course, sir. That will be taken care of right away."
  • "Thank you."
  • He turned to leave but then faced them again.
  • "Um, sirs? I brought some company for our clients like I always. Would you like me to bring in some ladies?"
  • "No." both men replied.
  • "Oh, okay." Kihyun excused himself and left their premises.
  • "If I wasn't planning on sitting for the elections to become mayor of this fucking city, I would've probably asked him to bring in one of those pretties," Namgyu said, sipping his whiskey and feeling the hot liquid burn down his throat. And by pretties, he meant the young men and not the women.
  • "I can relate. With our jobs, it's necessary we keep our sexuality private and hidden from the public." Yoonjin added.
  • Both men were gay and this was completely unknown to the public. The country was a highly homopSunnyc one and if it was known that both these influential and powerful men were gay, it would be the cause of the downfall of their empires.
  • -
  • After having their champagne and spending a little more time discussing business and other issues together, it was time for them to leave the club as discreetly as possible. They needed not to be recognized for the sake of people's curiosity and their reputation.
  • Kihyun helped them with this, making them pass through the back door Bam had helped Hosun sneak into the club with.
  • He left them in the alley and went back in.
  • "See you tomorrow, Yoons," Namgyu said as his friend took out his ringing phone from his pocket.
  • "Sure, Gyu. Gotta answer this call, it's him. Goodnight." Yoonjin replied and walked over to the dead end of the alley to answer his call.
  • "Greet him for me."
  • Namgyu and his two bodyguards then left the alley. They stood on the sidewalk and waited for the driver who'd rushed to get the car, to pull up.
  • Yoonjin waved his men away as he wanted a private conversation with the person calling him.
  • "Go get the car, Chanyeol," he ordered his bodyguard who rushed away to get their driver.
  • "Hello little brother, how are you?" Yoonjin said into the phone.
  • "I'm fine, Hyung. And you?"
  • "I'm okay. I hope you're well taken care of."
  • "Yes, I am. Hyung, I miss you. I'm tired of staying far away from you."
  • "Don't worry, Jihoon. You will be with me again once I find out who it is that tried to kill you. And I promise to get rid of the bastard."
  • Yoonjin's brother was believed to be dead by all. Months ago, there had been several murder attempts against Jihoon until a bullet finally took him under the heart. The enemies thought they'd succeeded but Yoonjin's brother survived after a quick operation and a few days in a coma.
  • Knowing these people were trying to get to him through his brother, he made everyone believe Jihoon was dead and even had a burial done. Meanwhile, he'd sent Jihoon out of the country to one of his private properties abroad.
  • Just like Namgyu, Yoonjin was without parents or family and his only family was Jihoon. He was going to protect him with his life.
  • "Please, be careful, Hyung."
  • "I will be. Don't worry."
  • *
  • Jun stood at the far end of the sidewalk outside. He'd left the bar to get some fresh air.
  • The streets were foggy and empty. No noise but the faint sound of music coming from the Cherry Bomb.
  • He hugged himself and inhaled, feeling emotional for no reason at all when he could go back inside and enjoy Hansol's company. But at the moment, he suddenly wanted to be alone.
  • He was far in his thoughts when he heard footsteps and he hid behind the wall of the building. He peeped and was surprised to see the one and only Kim Namgyu, followed by his men, come out from an alley on the other side of the building and behind the Cherry Bomb.
  • 'What's he doing here? And at this time?'
  • Seokjun wondered. It was past 1AM.
  • He watched the CEO walk to the middle of the sidewalk, right in front of the Cherry Bomb, and wait.
  • Namgyu sent one of his men to go look for his driver and stayed with one of the men.
  • Suddenly, out of nowhere, and to Seokjun's shock, the guard by Namgyu collapsed dead, blood oozing out of his forehead. Seokjun gasped.
  • Namgyu who was taken aback immediately tried to hide but was shot in the silence of the night as well. The shooter was surely using a silencer and so no sounds of the gunshots were heard.
  • "Oh, my gawd!" Jun gasped out of instinct and not thinking about his own life at the moment, being the good man he was, he immediately ran to where Namgyu lay.
  • He got to the bodies. Namgyu was coughing blood and blood was oozing out of his side where he was shot.
  • Jun knelt at his side and immediately took his shirt off. He wrapped it into a ball and pressed it against Namgyu's bleeding side to maintain the pressure.
  • "Hang on!" Jun said, pressing the wound to stop the bleeding.
  • Namgyu's vision was a blur and he heard no sounds. Not even Jun's voice. But, the last thing he saw before blacking out was a beautiful face. A beautiful, familiar face.
  • "Y- you..." he stuttered before passing out.
  • A car suddenly pulled up and Namgyu's shocked bodyguard stepped out.
  • "Who are you?! What happened?!"
  • Jun gasped at the gun being pointed at him.
  • "I- I-"
  • He was hit on the head with the gun before he could say anything, sending him collapsing and passing out.
  • The driver stepped out and Namgyu was immediately put into the car. However, Seokjun found himself being flung over a shoulder and kidnapped.
