• Roxy closes her eyes and inhales deeply, seeking to calm her senses. However, his scent has the opposite effect, flooding her mind with memories of his lips on hers. She recalls the moment in her apartment when she was pinned against him, legs wrapped around his waist, feeling his presence intimately. Opening her eyes, she tries to push away the intrusive thoughts. Squeezing her legs, she attempts to find some form of solace and nervously brings her lower lip between her teeth.
• Noticing that he is at the last page of the documents, Roxy reaches for the pen hastily as he places it down, causing their fingers to touch. A jolt of electricity rushes through her body as their eyes meet. His stormy orbs fixated on hers, brimming with carnal desire.
