• At 9:45, Roxy decided it was time to head upstairs for the meeting. She was trying to figure out the best way to handle the situation. Roxy didn't want to risk losing her job, yet she also didn't want to address what she had witnessed. Surprisingly, it hurt her, though it shouldn't have. She pondered why she was reacting this way. Frustrated, she thought to herself, "I can't afford to have feelings. Emotions only lead to trouble. This can't interfere with my job. I must maintain my composure. There is NO ANDREW AND I."
• Her gaze shifted to the desktop, noting it was already 9:50. Quickly gathering her files and laptop, Roxy made her way to his office. Upon arriving upstairs, a cheerful Victoria welcomed her with a hug. "How are you? I'm sorry, I didn't realize Selena was in his office. She must have sneaked in while I was in the bathroom. I hope she wasn't up to anything strange when you arrived? That girl can be a bit unpredictable," Victoria remarked with a half-smile, her eyes askew, and her finger making circular motions. Roxy smirked in response.
• The disturbing image of SELENA on her knees before him, his hands on her, haunted Roxy's thoughts. Her stomach clenched, and dizziness overcame her. Taking deep breaths, she tried to compose herself. Concerned, Victoria asked, "Are you okay, honey?"
