Chapter 41 Missing Him

• Elena’s POV
• I have no idea what got into Jaxon at Lunch, but he went from hot to cold to Mr. Freeze. I don’t understand why he was being rude to his dad as well. The ride back home was awkward, he didn’t say a word throughout the whole ride. Luckily Hudson was a little chatter box, which made the ride easier. But when we got to the office and Hudson gave me a hug, Jaxon seemed so off kilter. I felt so bad for Hudson when Jaxon didn’t say I love you back to him. Does Jaxon not realize just how lucky he is to have a dad in his life that loves him.
• I wonder where Jaxon is at. It’s been over an hour since we got dropped off. What if something happened to him on the way up here. He really didn’t look well when I left him outside. Damn it, maybe I should have stayed out there with him. I know he said that he was worried about his dad, but I feel it was more than that.
