- Zane felt a buzz in his head. Why would Tiffany make such an accusation against Velda? He knew she was mad at him, but fabricating lies to make Velda look bad was not something he thought she'd ever do.
- He scrolled through his phone and dialed Tiffany's number. Barely seconds into the second beep, she picked up the call.
- "Tiff?" He called out in the calmest voice he could. "I got your text."
