• Delaney tossed restlessly on the large bed, as her puffy eyes flickered open, staring weakly at the sun rays that filtered into the room. It was already midday.
• She was in no mood for work that day. She had to call in sick. She hoped Kaiden understood with her. He wasn't exactly happy about it.
• With a pair of sore eyes that had spilled out more tears than she could ever imagine she had, she wiped off her tear-stain eyes and made her way to the bathroom.
