Chapter 16 Blush

• The man walked out of the lift in strides as a crowd followed him, while Jessica was among the mix, so I was wondering if he would be the client who I was supposed to receive. Within a few moments, the women in the pantry were stunned by the sight of that man. Perhaps it was because of their passionate gazes, the man turned to look in my direction.
• There was a hint of surprise in his gaze as our eyes met. It was apparent that he recognized me. Out of courtesy, I should have greeted him in response, but I only responded by hanging my head low. Without further ado, the man was ushered into the reception room by the crowd behind him, while I hurriedly returned to my office.
• While sitting in my chair, I was stunned by the realization that I would be receiving him. Jessica’s call came in when I was spaced out, urging me to meet President Walker in the reception room.
