Chapter 53. Bleeding Light Of A Twilight. The End Of The Road
- Christian finally got out of bed, after much meditation, he left his room, not without first taking the keys to one of his motorcycles, it was the most practical way to get out of there, as it would draw less attention than taking one of his cars. He walked stealthily, looking to all sides as he moved slowly to avoid being seen, knowing that if Jared or any of the service personnel saw him, they would stop him, but he was not willing to stay in that house while its interior was a dangerous ordeal, he needed to get to where everything was happening.
- The images flashed through his mind, his argument with Lynda, his attempt to restrain her, her leaving his side, leaning back from the railing and seconds later watching her fall over the balcony with nothing he could do to stop her.
- He took the motorcycle from the garage, put on his helmet without turning it on until he went outside, got on and rode all the way to the gate of the house, for a moment he feared being stopped by the security guards, luckily the men were distracted so no one was paying attention to the surveillance, he ran as if the same demon was chasing him and that was how he felt, chased by hundreds of demons of his own making.
