Chapter 34 Admiting my feelings to his mum

• As I was about to answer, a bell rang and a fat, round man dressed in a chef's uniform announced that dinner was ready and that everyone should be seated at the table. I looked back at my aunt and she gave me a look that said, wed continue this talk after dinner'. I understood and nodded my head.
• People who were not at the table before joined in and those at the table before adjusted their selves appropriately. After everyone had taken their seats, the chef cleared his throat. Tonight's dinner is a very special one and so is the meal. For appetizers, we prepared pizza rolls and Mexican Chicken Empanadas. For the main course, we have Meatloaf. We have fruit cake for dessert.
• The signature drink for tonight's dinner is eggnog. We also have classic Shirley Temple. The men at the table shouted at the mention of eggnog. I guess the men in the Kings household are eggnog lovers. “Please enjoy, he said and clapped his hands.
