- Silas drove like maniac. His mind was troubled. He was puzzled as to why Anya showed herself after six months.
- He had called her several times but his call was always forwarded to voice mail. He went to her house to check on her only to find out that she had moved. She had moved away from the apartment he bought for her. She had refused to let him furnish it, arguing that she wants to contribute in paying the bills and she wasn’t some woman who’d let her man buy the house and fold her arms as he furnished it for her.
- She had also questioned her sense of independency and Silas had replied with a grunt of approval. There was no way he was going to win in an argument against her.
