• My heartbeats quickened when I could hear his footsteps and the strong scent of the wolf coming closer and closer. I shut my eyes tightly and tried to control my breath. I thought it was over when the wolf finally got to where I am staying but just then I heard his footsteps scurrying away.
• I didn’t even waste time coming out immediately. As I walked back to the window, I could hear the noise. I strained my ear and all thanks to my sensitive wolf ears, I heard what the commotion was all about.
