Chapter 144

  • After dinner, they went to sleep in their respective rooms, the second day, Bridget went over to the market to help Murphy and Lucy. Their occupation was that Murphy went to the sea to catch fish with other fishermen while Lucy sold it in the market.
  • Bridget didn't have any problems with that. In fact, she helped Lucy at the market to sell all of her fish. Bridget was not afraid of hard work, and she was more than happy to help Murphy and Lucy with their business.
  • She knew how much the market meant to them, how important it was to their livelihood. And so, she did her best to help in any way she could, to make sure that the fish were properly displayed, and that the prices were fair. She wanted to do her part, to give back to the people who had given her so much.
