Chapter 7 Wanted Her From Years

  • Clutching the t-shirt that he just threw on my face with a tight first, I stood up.
  • My heart is shattering even more every time he treats me like trash. It felt as though, with each passing moment, another piece of my soul was shattering into irreparable fragments. His eyes were fixed on me as I passed through him, but this time he didn't stop me as I entered the bathroom.
  • Locking myself in, I placed the t-shirt aside, and the first thing I saw was my reflection in the mirror, which terrified and saddened me equally.
  • My hair was completely disheveled, cascading down my shoulders. My once-lustrous strand storm that had entered my life, making it unruly and chaotic.
  • My face appeared pale and devoid of life. The rosiness and the natural glow were no longer there on my cheek; instead, they were replaced by tears that were dribbling down my eyes continuously.
  • My eyes were red and puffy from all the continuous crying and begging. There was fear on the devil, the fire of revenge, and a longing to escape this hell as soon as possible.
  • The girl staring back seemed like a fragment of who I had been-a prisoner Trapp within her on own skin.
  • I was thinking my appearance was horrific until my eyes fell on my neck, which was adorned with his bit marks. My finger instinctively moved up and traced the path of the wounds.
  • The deep cuts and savage imprints stood as cruel reminders of my utter helplessness. The memory of my anguished cries reverberated in my mind, an agonizing echo of the pleas that had fallen on defeat ears as the monster had inflicted his cruelty upon me.
  • My eyes once again moved around my form, and a loud gasp escaped my lips.
  • My feet took a step back as I couldn't support my weight any longer. My eyes once again filled with a new set of tears, blurring my vision. My back hit the wall, and I slid down, breaking into heart-wrenching sobs.
  • I was the youngest, shielded from the harsh realities of the world by a cocoon woven with affection and care.
  • My mother never let me do any household chores as she always wanted me to study to pursue my dreams because she was not able to. My father did everything in his power to fulfil all my wishes and raise me like a princess. My brother, though three years older than me, protect me from all the evils of the world, and I never knew that outside my safe cocoon, it was so cruel that now it threatened to consume me.
  • 'I hate you, Ansell Orion, I hate you ' I cried my heart out, and my son's echoed in the bathroom.
  • I know I promised myself that I would not cry but at the moment, I could not stop myself. I am as emotional as I am strong.
  • I still couldn't believe what Ansell had said about my brother. I am sure there is some understanding. Something is missing that I need to find out.
  • My sobs were interrupted by a loud thumping at the door.
  • "I need to use the bathroom as well. Come out quickly, you have all life and many more upcoming reasons to try on" Ansell said from the other side of the door.
  • I am sure he must have heard me, but it didn't affect him. I do not expect anything from cruelty.
  • With a shuddering breath, I wiped away my tears and stood up with the help of the taps.
  • Turning on the shower, I started scrubbing myself with the loofah. With each sweep of the loofah, I felt a surge of determination coursing through my veins, surpassing the pain as I vigorously scrubbed away the remnants of his touch. It was as if I were in a table against time itself, fighting to erase every trace of his violation from my skin.
  • With each swipe, the haunting images of the previous night played out like a relentless slideshow in my mind. I scrubbed fiercely everywhere he touched me.
  • I was feeling ashamed of myself for not fighting him with everything.
  • After what felt like an eternity, I finally turned off shower. My skin was pink and raw from the abrasive scrubbing, and my hand reached out for the t-shirt.
  • It was oversized and large enough to cover my body until mind-thigh. It had a small neck, covering my skin decently, and it's sleeves came to my elbow. It's shoulder were loose, but I was glad that my upper body and curves were completely covered under that baggy dress.
  • I could smell him on the t-shirt, but it was better to wear this than nothing.
  • My eyes were still puffy, and my nose was red. I wasn't looking much like myself, but I shouldn't be caring about my appearance. I need to get out of this hell as soon as possible.
  • Opening the door, I stepped outside to find him busy or his phone was probably waiting for me. His head moved up as soon as he acknowledged my presence. I decided to ignore him and mine my own business so that he could use the bathroom and give me some privacy.
  • My eyes were still on the ground as I moved forward, but I was not able to take more than two steps before he came in my way, halting me at my place.
  • "I think should drop the idea of buying your dress" my eyes snapped up at him, and I found him staring down at my body. His piercing eyes bore into me, a predatory glint dancing within their depths. His words were a chilling mixture of lust and amusement.
  • "This" he pinched the t-shirt, "looks more tempting on you" he bit his lower lip.
  • His eyes danced all over my body as if he possessed every inch of it.
  • His finger reached up and took a wet hair strand in between his fingers before he lifted it to his nose and inhaled deeply.
  • Slowly, his eyes opened, and they met mine, sending chills down my spine. I was shivering from within, but I kept the facade of an emotionless face. His eyes moved down my lips and stayed there for more than a minute.
  • Panic flared within me as his proximity increased and his movements became deliberate and predatory.
  • He leaned forward, and I tossed my face to the other side. I don't want him to kiss me. My fist clenched around the t-shirt tightly, turning my knuckles white, and my eyes squeezed shut.
  • I could feel him breathing against my neck. The hairs on my nape stood up in reaction, and suddenly I felt his thumb press against my injury, making me wince in pain, and my eyes squeezed even more.
  • "They are turning me on" his words, laden with a raw, huskily desire, brushed against my senses, leaving a trail of uneasy in their wake.
  • My heart was pounding fast in my chest as I couldn't predict his next step.
  • Suddenly, he stood back, and I relaxed a bit. My eyes slowly lifted meet his, and he was still staring at me. Intently.
  • The cold air hit my body, and I shuddered, this time visibly.
  • "I think you need some warmth" his voice cut through the air, gentle and calculated, as he took my palm into his grasp. I hesitated, my instincts warring with a sense of foreboding. "Let me provide it to you"
  • My feet halted in their tracks, and the colour of my face drained. I could feel the sense of danger gripping my veins. He sat on the edge of the bed, and before I could react, he pulled me to his lap.
  • "Let me go" I struggled as the first three words words of the day slipped out of my mouth. After all that he he'd done last night, I still had a thin hope that he would listen to my cries and that his heart would melt like before.
  • "Never" his roar reverberated through the room, and a thunderous proclamation of his dominance sent a shiver down my spine. "Sooner you accept your fate, the better it is for you"
  • My head turned to him, and I couldn't see even a single ounce of mercy in them. His eyes were devoid of any compassion or humanity, which sank my heart into the pit of my stomach.
  • His one hand was still possessively wrapped around my waist, while the other rested on my bare thigh. His palm so large that it grabbed my thigh easily. His fingers crept upward, hiking the fabric of the oversized t-shirt I wore, exposing my vulnerability in the most intimate of ways.
  • "You are softer and smoother than I imagined" he rasped against my lips, his eyes still boring into mine.
  • "Please" I begged as my lower lip quivered and tears threatened to spill down my eyes. The more I was trying to become strong, the more I was getting weak. "For the sake of those old days"
  • I tried to remind him of the days when he used to help me, care for me, and provide me with things behind my brother's back.
  • I thought that maybe this could melt his heart but his next words took me by surprise.
  • "What if I tell you that I wanted you from the first moment, when I laid eyes on you ten years ago?"
  • The revelation hit me like a physical blow, my eyes widening in shock as the ground beneath me seemed to shift.
  • My eyes widened, and my lips parted. I always thought that he was taking care of me because of his friendship with my brother. I could never approach him because I was afraid that he would say he considered me his sister, and also because Philip didn't like my closeness with him. I never knew he had bad, sinister intentions.
  • I was still my world when my thoughts were cut short as he slammed his lips tightly against mine.
