• Even though I was very tired and my body longed for a good rest, I couldn't disconnect my mind from a little girl who was with strangers, my fiancée's body was leaning against mine, giving me warmth and protection, his breathing was calm, a sign that he was still sleeping.
• With utmost care, I untangled myself from his protective embrace and went in search of something to wear. I wouldn't be able to sleep peacefully with Larissa around. I chose a tailored shorts and a plain blouse, it was hot today.
