Chapter 55 Emily Harris

• The rest of the week passed peacefully. Larissa wanted to go back to school the next day, but we managed to keep her at home. I was still worried about her fall, it was quite bad. I also stayed in the apartment for the rest of the week, working from the office. Mrs. Mary would send me the documents whenever she needed me to go through them, and when I needed to speak with any of them, we would do it through video calls.
• We are approaching the end of the semester, so I hardly have any more classes left. Soon, I will only need to defend my thesis, which is in the hands of my professors. Emma is in the same situation as me, just waiting. We are confident that in a few months, we will be graduates and ready to practice the profession we have been preparing for for years.
• Today we woke up early to try to get there by lunchtime, but it seems like we won't be getting there anytime soon if it depends on Emma. Until now, they still haven't arrived at the airport. Larissa was already sitting in her seat with a tablet in her hand and headphones on, but she kept looking out the window to see if her friend had arrived.
