Chapter 109

• The news about May's death already spread across all media like wild fire. Mike, Alicia and Adams were all devastated, but her death hit Mike the hardest, this was the woman he loved and he came home only to meet her lifeless body drowning in a pool of her own blood. The police has already started investigating the case, they had no lead at all as to find out who was responsible for May's murder. They were able to tell that it was a man who's behind this due to the cctv footage outside Mike's apartment but that was all since there was no footage of his face at all, his face was well hidden.
• The news eventually got to Ashton and the only person he could think of was Evie, afterall, the questions she was asking him about May made him suspicious since he saw no reason why she would leave their original plan and focus on May who's not even important. He grabbed his phone and called Evie, asking her of her whereabouts. Evie gave him her home address and he immediately left his office, heading straight to her home.
• Evie was having the best moment of her life, she was partying alone in her house, celebrating the death of May. Sadly, she wouldn't be able to see Alicia going through whatever pain she must be going through right now, but one thing is for sure, she definitely won't be missing May's funeral.
