Chapter 21 The truth
- The doorbell dinged and she panicked slightly. She smoothened her long black dress and rearranged her hair one more time before she walked up to the door. She pulled the door open and stood nervously in front on Jack who was leaning slightly on the door frame. He was dressed in dark jeans pants and a blue shirt that was tucked in with the first two buttons of the shirt left undone, exposing a bit of his tattooed chest. His hands were in his pockets as he stood lazily against the frame, staring at her. He cleared his throat slightly and she caught herself, looking down in embarrassment.
- It had taken him about an hour to finally prepare for the dinner. He wasn't someone that was ever nervous, but today had kept him completely wrecked. After getting home from work, he took a quick shower before walking into the closet in search of what to wear. He had previously tried on over four jeans and seven shirts before finally settling for the dark jeans and blue shirt he wore.
- All the clothes he tried on were either not matching or did not make him look handsome enough. He racked his hand through his hair in frustration before settling on the clothes that hanged hidden in the midst of other clothes. He gelled his hair perfectly and curled it to the side, giving him that hot model look. His diamond wrist watch complimented his dressing and with more than fifteen minutes left on the clock, he grabbed his car keys from the table and walked out. he was never late for anything.
