Chapter 15 Meeting again

• He sat at his usual VIP corner in the boisterous bar as he drank from his bottle of expensive scotch. He was seated alone, watching the different people that crowded the bar on a midweek dance to low and sensual music that blared from the speakers.
• After his meeting with Lucas had ended, he had stayed back at the office to sort out some things before going over to the bar. The bar was somewhere he visited frequently though he didn't really go to drink. He wasn't much of a drinker, he just went there to ease some pressure and boredom of staying at home alone.
• Karen walked into the bar with Ciara and they both went to the VIP section. Ciara had forced her to go today. She was a big PR staff in one of the major companies in the whole of California so she was financially capable of taking care of herself. Not filthy rich, but enough to send some dollars carelessly. Ciara dragged her as they both walked to the VIP section and took an empty table. She was dressed in a short black gown that opened largely at the back, exposing her bare back. Her hair was tied to a bun with mild makeup on her face. She had the appearance of a goddess under the lightening of the bar.
