• When they returned to the island, Ava was across from Hunrer in the bungulo with ehr head resting on her arms. He had been sulking for a while over the fact his project was going to be a bust. He needed to find out if hte government was actually looking to take the idea, or of Evaline was lying. He assumed the latter, but wasn’t willing to take teh risk that for once she was telling the trouth. Nothing was adding up and the stress was getting to him.
• “Master, is there anything I can do?”
• “No. I just need time to think this through. Why don’t you go find Rebecca and take security with you? I know you have to be hungry. Grab a massage while you’re at it.”
