Chapter 10
- The next morning, Ava was sitting at her computer when a knock came on the door of her bungalow. Her suite was lined along a series of huts that extended into the ocean with the best view. Lucky for her, it was the first in the line nearest the beach. Once again stuck with water surrounding her, making her stomach turn. She had been thinking of ways to get moved to the main resort away from the terrifying depths of the ocean tides.
- Standing from her desk, Ava noted the beautiful images she could have taken throughout the day, halted by her missing camera. Even she couldn't deny how lovely the place was. Photography was her biggest joy in life and the one thing that made her feel special, so it was worth the risks. She was good at it and seeing the smiling faces of all the guests of the island had washed away all the stress from the day before. She just wished she could capture it with her lens, but for now, she needed to see who on this island would be visiting her.
- As she reached the door, she heard whistling coming from the other side. Sighing in annoyance, she leaned her forehead on the door. “Jeez. Not him again. I thought he’d caught the hint last night. He’s so freaking creepy. Shouldn’t he be sleeping in a coffin right now? Damn sexy weirdo.”
