Chapter 26
- The night after Hunter’s day in the sun, he asked her to dinner that night. Everything that day had been so relaxing and peaceful. He smiled more, felt more, was more. Taking things slowly, they were careful to make sure to keep him from burning. Ava, being so fair skinned, was accustomed to how to keep sun burns at bay. It was almost a bonding moment for them as she rubbed sunscreen on his body, combined with the affection that they showed each other throughout the day.
- While Ava sat in her bungalow brushing her hair, a knock came from the open patio doors. Smiling back at her was Rebecca, with a kind wave.
- Guiding her in, Ava stood to greet her. “Rebecca, nice to see you.”
