• I stood in sheer shock as I walked into his room. Aiden lay in his bed with the sheets wrapped to his neck, shivering and mumbling words I couldn’t understand. This was the first time I had seen him in bed till this time of the day.
• “I’ve been knocking for a while,” I said as I walked to the bed, dropping to his side. He moaned as I touched him, groaning in pain as I turned him to face him. His body burned with a fever, making me step back to monitor the situation.
