Chapter 31 Thirty-one

• I know someone carried me as I struggled in vain to break from the effect of the tranquilizer. It was okay I wasn’t dead, and I wanted to know who would send men after me. I forced my eyes open, but all I could see was static, feeling the thud of someone carry me away.
• “Is he going to know someone kidnapped me? What is he going to do if he finds out I’ve been kidnapped?” Those were the questions that ran through my mind with every step.
