• I had finally arrived at our main headquarters in Bucharest. It was in the sub-basement of a commercial building, which was owned by one of the senior Thracian Knights, my father’s mentor. The vampire hunters occupied at least three sub-basement levels for training, tracking, meeting, and planning. There were resident trackers and trainers. They were more focused on the organization, and they earned as professional vampire hunters, whereas I… well, it was just a hobby in line with my goal in life: destroy Grigore.
• I used the special code combination and pulse-response biometric to enter the headquarters. Once I stepped out of the elevator and onto the foyer, I saw Marinela. She wore a pair of black racerback tank top, black leather pants, and boots. She sported a flower⸺a small rose⸺tattoo on the back of her left hand. She was a pretty woman in her twenty-third year on Earth. She had long blonde hair that was in a high ponytail, was average height, with a slim body, blue eyes, a wide mouth, and natural red lips. As a loyal and brave woman, she has worked as a firewoman for two years now. She has saved a number of lives since she got this job and as a vampire hunter.
