Chapter 13 Love Sickness

• Daisy's POV
• "Daisy, come and have your breakfast, you're gonna be late for school" I heard my mum call out for the third time but I still didn't budge, I was still lying down on my bed and haven't even had my bath, I just need to be alone, I curled a little tighter into a ball as yesterday's event kept repeating in my head, there's no way I'm going to that school today, I can't stand the pain, his words hurt me more than I can ever explain, and I closed my eyes under the duvet, I was alone wallowing in pain, how can I ever overcome this? Can I ever get over him? I wish I could just vanish from this earth, "Daisy?" I could hear my mum knocking on my door, why can't she just let me be, I just want to be left alone, her knock sounded again and I groaned as I rolled on the bed, I know that she won't stop knocking until I answer or she will simply get the spare key and open the door, I hadn't gone down for dinner yesterday claiming exhaustion, I can't bring myself to tell her that I'm dying of heartbreak, her knock sounded again and I opened the door, her eyes widened when she saw that I haven't had my bath let alone dressed for school, "what's this Daisy? Aren't you going to school today?" I slowly walked to my bed and she followed me inside, "what's going on? Talk to me, you know that you can tell me anything"
• "I'm fine mum," I said simply and her eyes rounded in exasperation, "obviously you're not fine, did something happen?" After a slight pause, she added, "with Celine?" I stared at her and sat up, "I told you that I didn't fight with Celine, why are you still bringing her up, I don't want to talk about her" I know I am sounding pained but what the f^ck, I just can't help it and I do not need to think if Celine, she'll only add to my heartache and mum is just reminding me of her as if she has a special affiliation with her, why can't she just understand that I need to be alone and leave, I took a deep breath and tried to be calm as possible, "mum, I'm having a bad headache, just go to work, I'll take some medications and I'll be fine" she looked like she was about to say something but then changed her mind, "alright darling, I'll let you rest at home today but if you're still not fine when I return, then we'll see a doctor"
