Chapter 84
- After nearly an hour sitting on the living room couch, I hear the door to my apartment open, and instantly I realize it's Chloe, as within seconds she appears at the end of the hallway walking towards me.
- "Sweetie, I'm sorry I'm so late, the traffic was horrendous," she says, approaching me. "How are you feeling?"
- She gives me a heartfelt hug that brings tears to my eyes, and I can't reply.
