- I went out to meet Gérard, wondering why he had come back to see me. Was something bad going to happen?
- "Sweetheart, what are you doing here?"
- "You've never called me sweetheart before; it sounds nice," Gérard smiled. "Nothing happened, sweetheart, I just wanted to see you."
