"Miss, you can sit here," the officer indicated as I entered a room with a window, through which you can see the other side, and there's also some kind of phone attached to the wall. "Wait a moment, the detainee will be here soon," he explained, and I nodded.
I settled into the chair, and as I waited, I kept moving my fingers constantly, feeling like I was about to faint and I hadn't even seen him face to face yet.
When I looked towards the window, I saw the door on the other side open, and my heart started beating wildly as I saw who was coming through.
