• I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was Bernardo sleeping near me. I reached out and caressed his face softly, careful not to wake him up. We didn't sleep until around five am. We were at each other nonstop. I still felt tingles in all the places that he had touched last night.
• I smiled, just seeing his sleeping face made me happy. Not just me but my wolf too. She was the one that woke me up because she had been all giggly and happy. It was as if she was holding a party inside my head. She got the special treatment from our mate. Both of us did.
