• I was slowly losing my mind as the days went by without any sign of Harlyn. I have looked everywhere. I found the guards who took her away and questioned them. I sent them to the hotel with other guys with my jet and they came back empty-handed, she was no longer at the hotel. I didn’t believe them so the next day, I got on the jet and went by myself. I met with the hotel management and we checked their CCTV but nothing. She left the hotel and never came back. I left there in a very bad mood. There was no lead, I didn’t know where to start looking for her. She had a phone but she left it in the palace because my sister had sent her away without letting her pack.
• Sophie knew better than to let me see her in the mood I was in. I was surprised when I asked about her and the guards told me she left the palace. She did well because I don’t know if I would have been able to stop myself from punishing her. I got to know all the things she and her friend Ava have been doing to Harlyn since Grandma passed away. I regretted not protecting her like Grandma had asked me to. If I had done that, If I had done my job as the alpha, maybe she would not have suffered so much under my nose.
