• I let out a sigh as Bernardo pulled me tight into the hug, feeling relieved that he was finally here. When he didn’t show up yesterday, I thought he gave up already and went back to the Crimson Moon. I waited for him the whole of yesterday, and even Julia had noticed that I was waiting for him. She suggested that I get his contact from Hillan but I refused.
• Hillan and Julia did their thing to keep me busy yesterday. When Hillan got back from work, he took me in his car and drove me to the house of one of the pack members who was ill and hadn’t been able to heal himself. At first, I was scared that I might not be able to do it but all I did was place my hand on him and wait for a few minutes and before I knew it, he got better.
