Chapter 8 Boyfriend

  • With nerves on edge, Sophia gazed at herself in the mirror for the thousandth time, searching for any flaw. There was none. In fact, she wore nothing more than a delicate-strapped blouse, wide black pants, and a matching overcoat. Her hair cascaded freely.
  • All this anxiety had a reason: it would be the first time she ventured out with Christian as her "boyfriend." That studio kiss had sparked numerous rumors. People are like moths: the more they know, the more they chatter. What was missing was their confirmation. They didn't need to say "we're dating," just walk hand in hand and kiss in the open air, as if it were all normal. That would suffice.
  • However, it wasn't easy for her. Soph had never concerned herself with the clothes she wore in her day-to-day life. After all, everything looked good on her. In reality, that wasn't her worry; rather, it was about proving to God and the world that she, the only one throughout his entire career, had been chosen to be his girlfriend officially.
  • Officially, he was in a relationship. How absurd was that?
  • The previous night had been extremely revealing and exhilarating. Confined to her room with a man like him, saying all the things he did, she had become delirious to the point of fantasizing and desiring something she couldn't have.
  • She wouldn't be the weak one who, within two days, would feel comfortable enough to sleep with him just because of an agreement.
  • "We're going to be late," Keilly said, as nervous as she was. It almost seemed like she was the one who had to pretend to be the girlfriend of a Hollywood heartthrob. "You have to be at Leny's reception by four, so..."
  • "I know, Keilly. Believe me, I know," Sophia replied, feeling her heart in her throat, even though he wasn't there. They would meet soon.
  • Soph reflected during the night, after Chris left. She had been too harsh with the man. They were supposed to be friends, partners, not rivals.
  • "Let's go," she finally said, stepping away from the mirror.
  • Christian, on the other hand, was relaxed, as if his life wasn't about to change because of a certain fiery woman who infuriatingly resisted his advances and charm.
  • "I would never, ever have bet that you would enter into a relationship, especially with Sophia Thompson," John, Chris's longtime friend, expressed his expected astonishment. Indeed, that's what all of Los Angeles was thinking. "Sophia Thompson?"
  • Christian, leaning back in his chair, outdoors, wearing his sunglasses, a lightweight floral button-up shirt, and sipping something refreshing, smiled at his friend's stunned expression. He inwardly agonized over not being able to speak the truth.
  • Chris couldn't fathom why John was so surprised by his choice, considering that throughout all that time, Sophia was the only woman with whom he truly shared an inexplicable chemistry on screen. She was beautiful, funny, and people adored her extroverted nature.
  • That's why he furrowed his brow, looking at him with a mischievous smile on his lips.
  • "What's the surprise? Sophia has an extraordinary power," Chris didn't even need to lie; he felt it was all real. And, in fact, it was, except for the part where they didn't sleep together, didn't make love, or truly love each other. However, all the admiration was quite genuine. "She can be very, very stubborn at times. Did you know she resisted me from the start? She was the only one, throughout my entire career, who didn't fall head over heels for me. It was annoying, but it made everything more exciting."
  • "She resisted you?" John disbelieved.
  • John would say that it was an exaggeration for Chris to think that every woman in the world would fall in love with him, but it was true that most of the women he had encountered were, at the very least, embarrassed or affected when he smiled at them.
  • "How did you manage to win her over, then?"
  • "Gradually," Chris said, taking a sip of his drink. "I never had to chase after any woman before, but it was worth it."
  • Internally, Christian seethed. It hadn't happened yet. Soph was tough, she stood her ground. Unbearable. A challenging woman to handle. It wounded his pride, so he wouldn't tell anyone that the 27-year-old girl was so steadfast.
  • The conversation with his friend was a test. He would be pissed when he found out the truth, but at least Chris knew that he could charm people.
  • Looking at the time, he felt excited knowing that he was about to see her again.
  • Last night, Chris had held himself back from losing control. They were in that room. She was wearing that outfit, and he had memories from the film set, when they were in that room with scripts in their heads. But this time, he had been audacious. He enjoyed kissing her and pretending that they were together, alone.
  • Christian realized he was thinking too much about this girl. Worse, he was anxious to see her again. He said goodbye to John and left the restaurant, heading to meet Sophia.
  • She was reading her character's script, leaning against the pier, waiting for her "boyfriend." However, she couldn't concentrate or memorize the lines. She had to go back several times, and even then, she couldn't get it right. Her heart was racing, and anxiety was knocking at the door. She had never felt like this before.
  • She thought it would be like any other role, where she just needed to know the lines and perform in front of the cameras, but she didn't feel the confidence she thought she would. It was more than just a love scene; it was Christian Harrison, the man who drove her crazy and messed with her mind and body.
  • Watching the sea, people sunbathing, and players on the sand, she felt someone embrace her from behind, kiss her neck, and almost stop her heart. She would have panicked if she hadn't recognized the owner of those massive arms and the scent. As soon as she felt his lips on her skin, she felt ticklish and couldn't help but laugh at the intrusion. She didn't want to laugh, but it was inevitable. Moreover, closing her eyes, it felt natural to let him take advantage of her presence.
  • Soph had no idea why Chris did that; no one was watching them, no cameras were rolling. Well... they didn't always see who was lurking.
  • "What's gotten into you?" she asked when he released her, turned around, and stared at him.
  • Once again, she was caught off guard by his hungry lips, pressing her against the wood, drawing them closer. She couldn't resist and pulled him closer by his shirt, clutching the paper in her hand. She seized the opportunity of that kiss. It was passionate and lingering. When she pulled away, her smile broke through. She wanted to look into his eyes, but his sunglasses prevented her.
  • "It's satisfying to take the words right out of your mouth."
  • "You idiot!" she rolled her eyes. "Are you always going to take advantage of me?"
  • "It's you who's taking advantage of me. After all, you're the one who started it. And if I recall correctly, you agreed to be my girlfriend, which means I'm allowed to kiss your lips anytime."
  • "I don't think that's what we agreed upon."
  • "I want to see how far you can resist," he teased her.
  • Sophia, eager to join in the game, wrapped her arms around his shoulders, bringing their faces close together. He held her waist and pulled her closer to him.
  • "I'm starting a new game," he commented.
  • "Oh, really?" she raised an eyebrow.
  • "What's your limit?"
  • "My limit?"
  • "Yes. I'm going to make your days a living hell," he said. She bit her lip, and he observed her. Soph took off her sunglasses and put them on him. It wasn't too difficult to pretend. "I'll tease you so much, in so many different ways, that you'll beg me to fuck you."
  • "Wanna bet?" she continued to provoke, knowing she would lose because, at that very moment, she was on the verge of losing control. His magnetism was powerful, and she didn't know how much longer she could resist.
  • "Five days. That's the maximum I'll give you."
  • "Unlike men, who need a woman, girls can do just fine on their own, Harrison."
  • No! She didn't just say that!
  • He was stunned to discover that the innocent girl was just as depraved as he was.
  • "Fantasizing about me counts," he limited her. "No dreaming about me or thinking of me."
  • "Who said it would be about you?" she laughed, infuriating him. "What? Are you upset?" She saw his face darken, his eyes filled with irritation.
  • "Sophia!" He held her even tighter against his body. "Don't provoke me like that, or you'll regret it."
  • Chris had a plan in mind. He knew this was another one of her provocations, so he wanted to punish her. His hands descended, pushing the boundaries, he moved closer to her neck, lightly kissing her skin, squeezing her buttocks, placing one of his legs between hers, and continued to tease her body, gradually breaking down her resistance.
  • "You're strong. An intelligent woman," he pressed her body against the wooden railing on the pier. It was early, and the sky was clear. People walked and jogged in the area below them. "But you're not made of iron." Discreetly, he pressed against her, making a subtle motion between her legs, while leaving teasing kisses on her neck.
  • Sophia felt her heart in her mouth. She felt weak, unable to move from that spot. And she didn't want to. Chris teased her body, making her wet. It seemed like he wanted to make her climax with those movements that gradually became all too pleasurable.
  • "What are you doing?" she managed to ask, noticing the tremor in her voice. Her heart pounded hard in her chest.
  • She looked around. There was no one there, only people further away, unable to see what they were doing.
  • "Christian!"
  • "You said you won't sleep with me, but you didn't say anything about other ways I can make you come," Chris saw the perfect opportunity to kiss her as her mouth hung open, speechless. If she didn't want it, she would say "no," but she allowed him to continue. Soph held onto him, gripping his arms. She was close to letting go of the paper in her hands. The more he moved, the more aroused she became. Her body wanted more, wanted him to continue. She felt such heat that she desired to dive into the sea. Not even the sun could do that to her.
  • Fortunately, his kisses muffled the sighs and small moans her mouth insisted on producing.
  • "I hate you," she said in a fleeting moment.
  • "I know."
  • Gradually, that intimate moment became the best thing they had ever done. The space between her legs was on the verge of igniting. The fear of getting caught even faded away. She focused on kissing that hungry mouth, squeezing his beautiful muscles, and feeling his leg nestled perfectly against her sex, producing so much pleasure that it astonished her.
  • "You have no idea how I can give you pleasure, Sophia," he felt his cock throbbing inside his pants. He believed he would have a problem when they left that place. "Rules are made to be broken, but I'll respect your decision." She couldn't respond to that. She was enjoying his movements so much that she didn't want to think about anything else. "But it doesn't mean I can't turn your decision into hell. I may have a hard-on, but you'll only think of me, no one else. And when you want to change the rules, know that I'll fuck you like a madman to make up for all the times you've made me aroused." All of this was whispered in her ear.
  • She hugged him tightly as she reached her limit, climaxing in her panties, right in front of everyone present, yet they remained oblivious. After he was satisfied, he let her go, and her legs trembled.
  • How did Christian manage to do this? How could he make her unravel without even taking off their clothes?
