Chapter 25 Rain
- She began to grow anxious with each passing minute. She started to look out the living room window, where there was a cushioned ledge, observing the outside and praying that he wouldn't torture her even more. Christian was already messing with her already shaken feelings. As if it weren't enough for her to feel like a loser and no longer have an agent because of him, she now had her heart in her hands just because the idiotic womanizer who drove her crazy day and night was gone, thinking goodness knows what. What if he came to the conclusion that she didn't feel the same way about him?
- Her father was right. The clouds were already forming. In her adolescence, Sophia liked that distinct climate. They were almost at the border of San Francisco, where it was more cloudy than sunny, unlike the coastal capital of the state, known for its beaches.
- Christian was questioning everything he had done so far. He never imagined he would be in that situation. It was supposed to be a farce that would last a few months, for him to enjoy those moments with the woman who irritated and teased him by not giving in to his advances. But the tables turned, and he fell in love. He didn't notice when he was giving himself to her and when he stopped thinking only about himself and started focusing on her, on her smile, on her mischievous and bright eyes, on her sensual lips, and even on what she liked to eat, drink, and wear.
