Chapter 16 Killing the Heart

• Elvira hooked her lips, "I'm the daughter of the Lin family, why can't I come?"
• Gina stepped in front of her, leaned in close and whispered a warning, "Elvira listen to me, this is a very important day for your father, don't mess it up, got it?"
• "Is the Lin family so down and out that they need to sell their ex-wife's belongings for cash flow?" That's why Elvira didn't want to leave Genting to Gina.
• Gina has no business acumen whatsoever.
• "That's your father's decision too, you can't interfere." Gina was vicious.
• "It's not up to you to interfere or not, fuck off." Elvira was annoyed, her mother's relics, said nothing of falling into the hands of these people.
• Gina wanted to teach Elvira a lesson, but she didn't think that Elvira's action was faster, she pinched Gina's wrist and folded it with force, "Listen Gina, if you know what's good for you, don't mess with me or else, don't blame me for being rude."
• With that said, Elvira pushed forward and Gina nearly fell over in her heels, holding onto the wall with a very sinister look in her eyes.
• "Elvira! I was able to leave you with nothing six years ago, and now, I can do the same." Gina really wanted to get rid of this eyesore of a daughter.
• Elvira moved her wrist, "Yeah, I'll wait."
• She narrowed her eyes and surveyed the necklace around Gina's neck, "This necklace of yours, it's zirconia, isn't it?"
• When Gina heard this, she panicked and quickly covered the necklaces, "How can that be? This is what your father gave me."
• "Seeing as how you're ...... nothing more than that in my father's mind." Elvira this contempt.
• Elvira's kinlling words, is poked to Gina's heart, she earlier clamoured for the necklace, thinking of the 'Heart of the Ocean' for a long time.
• But Dion said he wouldn't give her the necklace and later bought other necklaces to cheer her up.
• She wore it today because she wanted to show off, at least in front of the media, to make out the couple love each other, Gina and how do not know, in Dion's heart, she is never compared to his ex-wife?
• Gina whispers something that Elvira doesn't hear and sees her leave the area.
• Elvira sat lazily on the couch and looked round, she had made a point of asking Hansel if Colton would be here when she came here today.
• Hansel said Colton has never been interested in such auctions.
• That's good.
• Grace shook her glass, her eyes flicking to a spot if anything.
• Seeing Gina come back with a bad look on her face, Grace asked, "What have you been doing, Mum?"
• "It's not that bitch Elvira, pissed off mum." Gina grumbled a few times before adding, "By the way, where's Ana? Coming?"
• "Not yet, I've been keeping an eye out." Grace was also a little edgy.
• "When Ana comes, you must show yourself well, if you can become her disciple, it will be beneficial to our Lin family." Speaking of this, Gina's eyes were glowing.
• Grace nodded, "I'm ready, I'm sure I can get her to look at me sideways whenever she shows up."
• "It's still my daughter who's good, genuinely thinking of our family." Gina caressed Grace's cheek, even her eyes were a little gentler.
• There were quite a few people at this auction who wanted to meet Ana.
• "If we can get a nod from her, is our company still worried about money?" Not far away, a few middle-aged men were discussing in low voices.

• "If it wasn't for her coming, I wouldn't have come to this auction, they are all so busy, how would they have the time to attend the auction." Someone complained.
• The crowd was eagerly awaiting Ana's arrival.
• Elvira, on the couch, tilts her head back and squints for a moment, drifting off into a dream in which her son is calling out for her mother.
• With a twinge in her heart, Elvira woke up then, only to realise that a lot of people had come to the venue.
• The auction was about to begin, and the host was already on stage, starting to list out the auction items that the major giants had taken out today.
• Elvira scanned the items that flashed across the PowerPoint extremely quickly and didn't see the Heart of the Ocean.
• She was disinterested and lay down on the couch again.
• First floor darkness.
• Colton cupped his chin and looked carefully at the people coming in and out, one by one, with a man in black standing beside him, "Where is she?"
