• As soon as I opened my eyes, I broke free from Gabriel's grip on me, quickly went into the bathroom, as I always do. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I didn't recognize the woman looking back at me. My life has changed so much in just 3 years, I went from being the sweet and obedient Allecra to this.
• I don't waste any more time lamenting and take a quick shower. I come out wrapped in a towel as slowly as I can, not ready to face Gabriel yet. I tiptoe towards my emergency bag, which I managed to fill with some clothes yesterday before fleeing the previous house. I kneel down and start looking for the most comfortable clothes.
