Chapter 4 Ana's Fainting

  • A month later...
  • There is a recreational activity at the university, Tony to integrate more with the boys, he practices outdoor activities with them, he knows that his subject, for some, is very boring. Ana is the first to say that, if to everything she proposes, Tony has become for her, like a kind of platonic love.
  • "Ana, Ana," Tony repeats his name twice, "what are you thinking, young lady?" He looks at her lightly.
  • "Not at all, teacher," he sighs, as I was thinking of him. So sometimes, he escapes from this world for a while. Ha, ha, ha. Love is in the air.
  • Sophi approaches him:
  • "Stop, let's go get something to drink, this teacher looks more like a physical education teacher," Sofi protests, tired from exhaustion.
  • When Ana gets up, she feels a strong dizziness, her mind becomes blurred and she does not understand why, when trying to stand firm, she falls languidly on the ground.
  • "Ana," Tony immediately shouts, and the boys go to help her.
  • She is transferred to the infirmary of the university, the paramedic in charge, in charge of giving her first aid, recommends that she go to a doctor, to check her more thoroughly, since she is very pale and with obvious signs of fatigue.
  • "Miss Rodríguez, I suggest that you go to a doctor soon for a more thorough check-up, you may have a disease that we don't know about.
  • "It was nothing, just a simple dizziness.
  • "Nothing! Sofia exclaims, "I'm going to tell Abel right now, so that the three of us can convince you, so that you can go to the doctor."
  • "I don't like doctors," Ana says in denial.
  • "Come on, you have to listen and go to a doctor right now, I beg you," Tony's words make him change his position immediately.
  • "Of course, I'm going right now. I call my father to come along, so I don't go alone.
  • "I'm going with you too, Ana," Ana frowns, since what Sofia wants is to run away from the university.
  • They leave the university, with the permission imposed by the professor, and Ana calls her father:
  • "Daddy, I have to go to the doctor, I just fainted in college."
  • "My holy God, what will you have, daughter?" You've always been very healthy.
  • "Yes, Dad, but I don't know what happened to me.
  • "Let's go to the hospital right now, to get checked out and have some tests done. Where are you, daughter?"
  • "At the exit of campus.
  • "Take a taxi, are you with Sofi?"
  • "If she'll come with me."
  • "Perfect, I'll wait for you at the central hospital, I'm on my way there, my love." Everything will be fine, small.
  • "Thank you, Daddy," Ana replies, still feeling dizzy.
  • Tony doesn't pay attention to Ana's fainting, for some reason it had already been a month since that incident, he never heard from the doctor, much less from the woman, who was going to lend him her belly. So, he tries to forget the whole thing and turn the page.
  • Coincidentally, another of his friends, who is his right-hand man at the newspaper, Alfred Gibbs, calls him, and he holds the position of executive vice president of the newspaper "A New Time".
  • She calls him to discuss a work matter:
  • "Alfred, I need a favor, I have just been sent a piece of information about an event in midtown Manhattan, please send someone to cover the story.
  • "Don't worry, the reporter was sent a while ago. I notice you're distracted; do you want to talk?
  • "I'm going to the newspaper; I'm leaving the university with my chauffeur.
  • "Perfect, I'll be waiting for you here, my friend."
  • In the hospital...
  • Ana's father quickly arrives, to find out that he has his daughter, he had been very worried about the call from a while ago. Take a look, in the waiting area and there was Sofi, sitting waiting while Ana was being taken care of.
  • "Hello Sofi, I came as soon as I could, how is my daughter?"
  • "Don't worry Mr. Anderson, your daughter is fine. It was just a simple dizziness; Ana is not used to doing sports activity.
  • "Was Ana doing sports?" That's weird," Ana's father smiles, smiling.
  • "If the literature teacher, trying to make the class less boring, sometimes invents some of them, open-air group activities.
  • "Well, that's not bad.
  • Anne rushes out, her face pale.
  • "Daughter, you look like a piece of paper, are you eating well?" With so much study you have to take more care of your health, my love.
  • "Don't worry, Daddy, I'm sure it's nothing. I just had some blood tests, the doctor told me to wait a few hours for the results. But what provokes me is to run out of here.
  • "Don't start, Ana, with stubbornness and better wait. I, on the other hand, do go home, I call you later to find out about you.
  • "Thank you, my friend," Sofi says goodbye, with a kiss on the cheek, to both of them.
  • "Well, we have to wait," Ana leans back on her father's shoulder as she waits.
  • In the facilities of the newspaper "A New Time" everything is very hectic today, with so many events in the city.
  • Meanwhile, Tony was in his office concentrating on his work, and Alfred arrived to greet him:
  • "Hello Professor. Who would have guessed, the CEO of "Un nuevo tiempo" now a university professor, dusting off his literary side.
  • "Make fun of yourself all you want; I confess that being a teacher relaxes me a lot.
  • "I was upside down, surrounded by so many teenagers.
  • "They're mostly young, I work the morning shift.
  • "Are you okay?" I've been seeing you distant for days, even very distracted.
  • "You know the memory of Micaela, work and my mother, who is very strong-willed.
  • "Ha, ha, ha. Yes, Rebecca, it's God's bread. Something else is happening to you," Tony smiles, for now he doesn't think it's prudent to talk about the subject of insemination, especially not in the newspaper, where the walls have an ear.
  • "Let's come to an agreement, so that the three of us, Justin, you and I, go out, just like in the old days.
  • "Wow, I'm glad to hear you say that it's good that you're leaving mourning now. You've been locked in your sadness for more than 5 years.
  • "Actually, I can think of something, but this is not the place to talk." At the door was Matilde, the cleaner, who watches everyone's steps, to go with the gossip after what she heard.
  • "Yes, you're right, especially with Matilde on the loose," Alfred says.
  • "Did he call me boss?" The very reckless one replies.
  • "How long have you been there listening?" Alfred asks suspiciously.
  • "I'm cleaning the windows of the office and I heard, my name unintentionally," Alfred rolls his eyes.
  • "I don't understand, why didn't you run it?" Alfred muses, in a very low tone.
  • "Ha, ha, ha. He is the lifeblood of the office and always keeps me up to date with the happenings of the day.
  • "You should have hired her, but as a reporter, with how gossipy she is, I'm sure she'd make a good press release," they both laugh at her comments.
  • Three hours later...
  • At the hospital, Ana and her father wait impatiently for the results of the blood tests.
  • "We've been in this agony for more than three hours," Anne murmurs to her father.
  • "Be patient, my love. But so am I, I'm getting desperate with the wait.
  • Immediately, a nurse arrives to tell them:
  • "Are you Ana Rodríguez?"
  • "Yes, miss.
  • "Come with me, the doctor will read you the results of the lab tests.
  • They enter the office and Ana is very nervous, for no apparent reason, and makes eye contact with the doctor.
  • "What's wrong with my daughter, doctor, is it serious?" Both Anne and her father stare at the doctor.
  • How will her father react when his daughter's results are read to him?
  • Let's find out, all that lies ahead, in the next chapter of: Wrong Mother – Inseminated by Mistake.
