Chapter 41 I Was Wrong

• "Are you sure she'd like these?" Darian positioned the coffee cup on the same tray that contained pesto eggs, French toast, bagels, and waffles. He had asked Tina to stay overnight to help him out with the preparation of the food.
• He wanted to surprise Lena with breakfast in bed. He didn't know what to do to placate her, he had missed her terribly and he felt starting with breakfast was the best way to approach her that morning.
• "Yes, she likes bagels so much and French toasts are her favorite kind of toasts." Tina pursed her lips, "I am not just sure you prepared them with the appropriate ingredients. I mean you did, but there was a time you added too much sugar to the waffles." She said, cringing.
