• Lena was seated at the edge of the king–sized bed, scrolling through some websites on her computer. She clicked on the screen and looked up at Darian.
• "What has got all your attention on the computer?" Darian asked, heaving himself to the edge she was seated on. He peered into the screen and coughed out a little. "Job hunting?"
• "Yes, Darian. I applied for jobs in some places and I am just going through the applications to see if any have gotten back to me." She kissed her teeth. She steadied the computer on her lap and continued to type on it, not caring what her husband's thoughts would be.
