Chapter 40 Malicious Mind

• Absinthe was still confused as fuck inside the punishment room. Vincent left her there hanging, and a question runs into her mind. When she was about to stand up, her knees trembled and she wasn't able to walk properly.
• She has a lot of questions in mind. Thoughts about her father's whereabouts and what Vincent said to her about being Vander's mother's lover. It hit her big time. Her unknown feelings for Vander are like rain that coated her whole system but taken away suddenly.
• She's crying in her torment. It was painful to her that Vincent interfere with their romantic affair. It scares her that Vander would get mad at her. With a crying face, she slowly stood up and walked out of the punishment room.
