Chapter 31 Deadly Gentleness
- In an effort to increase everyone’s enthusiasm, every time an auction item was successfully bid on at that evening’s charity gala, the staff would bring it to the bidder to pay by card while simultaneously handing the item to the bidder.
- Because it was a charity gala, everyone who came did not pay any deposit. The organizer was also worried that some people might place impulsive bids and, in the end, could not afford to pay for them.
- Hence, every auction item would be sold one by one. After the deal was done, the result for the previous item would be displayed on the big screen before the auction for the next item started.
