Chapter 8 The Beautiful Lady Boss
- Half an hour later, in an elegantly decorated room on the second floor of Ray Bar was Raelyn's usual resting bedroom.
- However, at that moment, a strange sound from a woman was heard emanating from the bedroom.
- “Oh! So comfortable! Dom, put a bit more effort into it! Yes, just like that... it feels amazing...”
- Inside the room, a stunningly beautiful woman was sprawled on the bed, clad only in a form-fitting garment and a thin veil.
- At this point, Dominic had already changed into a new set of clothes and was standing by the bed, massaging the beautiful woman. “Um, Raelyn, could you please stop moaning like that? It's really hard to handle!”
- Every time Dominic massaged Raelyn, she would always react in such a way that it stirred a passionate fervor within him.
- Raelyn elegantly turned her head from the bed, positioning her body in a provocative manner. She chuckled. “If you can't stand it, then come on. You don't need to take responsibility for me, my dear...”
- A woman in her thirties exuded the most feminine charm, especially Raelyn, with her captivating allure. It was simply irresistible to Dominic.
- Although he had been married to Cherilyn for over a year, Dominic had never even touched a single finger of hers. Dominic was a vigorous and normal man, and a stunningly beautiful woman like Raelyn definitely held a tremendous attraction for him.
- Dominic's arm had just happened to rest on the small of Raelyn's back, the sensation under his hand causing his breath to hitch slightly. The temperature in the room seemed to have risen several degrees in an instant... Raelyn looked at Dominic with a hazy gaze, her arm slowly sliding up to hook around his neck, ready to take further action...
- Just at the critical moment, someone knocked on the room door urgently. “Raelyn, it's bad! Leopard has brought people to the bar, claiming he's looking for you to hand over Dominic!”
- Raelyn's and Dominic's heads, which were moving closer together, suddenly froze in mid-air. Dominic quickly shook his head and, in the same motion, scooped Raelyn up from the bed. “Raelyn, did I cause you any trouble?” he asked.
- In fact, Dominic probably had a hunch about who was causing the mischief.
- During this period, the only person Dominic had offended was Hugo. After making Hugo lose face at the Royal Pier Hotel last night, it was certain that Hugo had retaliated.
- “Raelyn, perhaps I should leave through the back door.” Raelyn, a woman in a man's world, had a tough time running this bar. Dominic didn't want to cause any trouble for her.
- Raelyn furrowed her brows, unabashedly pulling on her mini skirt right in front of Dominic. She cooed teasingly, “What's there to fear? You're mine. As long as I'm here, I dare anyone to lay a finger on you. Come, follow me downstairs!”
- After redressing herself, Raelyn once again resumed the image of a strong, empowered woman.
- When Raelyn led Dominic to the first-floor hall, the music throughout the hall had already ceased. Although the area had been cleared, around the perimeter of the hall, there were still some daring guests gathered, waiting to watch the drama unfold.
- A middle-aged man with a mohawk haircut sat confidently on a chair. He was none other than Leopard. He was accompanied by dozens of his men, their waists bulging, evidently all carrying weapons.
- Upon seeing Raelyn emerge, Leopard quickly stood up and greeted her, “Raelyn, I hope you won't take offense to my abrupt visit. I apologize for the intrusion!”
- As he spoke, Leopard reached out, intending to pat Raelyn's shoulder.
- Raelyn wore a gloomy expression, slapping Leopard's hand away. “Leopard, spare me your tricks! Bringing so many people to visit, hmph... Leopard, you've crossed the line...”
- The social climate had improved now. Those who were once involved in the underworld had taken the right path, all having legitimate livelihoods. However, behind the scenes, there were still territorial divisions.
- This area near the Ray Bar was indeed Raelyn's territory.
- Leopard sheepishly withdrew his hand, nodding as he said, “Raelyn, please don't be angry. I didn't come here today to cause you any trouble! I'm here on someone else's behalf, looking for a certain person. As long as you hand that person over to me, I'll leave immediately! After some time, I'll host a gathering at Eastsummer Inn to apologize to you. How does that sound?”
- As he spoke, Leopard cast a sharp glance at Dominic, who was standing next to Raelyn. This young man sure knows how to pick his allies. He's actually managed to find support in Raelyn.
- After Leopard finished speaking, he continued to whisper to Raelyn, “Raelyn, do you know the Campbell family? Mr. Campbell specifically asked for this kid, you know? I can't afford to offend him!”
- Raelyn's brows furrowed once again. She paused for a moment before she spoke. “So, you dare to offend me? I'm laying down the law today. I'd like to see who has the guts to take someone away from me!”
- Raelyn stepped forcefully onto a nearby table, the immense impact leaving a faint imprint on its surface.
- Leopard's face darkened. “Raelyn, are you really not giving me any respect? Are you insisting on a confrontation?” With a wave of his hand, his comrades around him immediately prepared for battle.
- In an instant, all the waitstaff of Ray Bar had gathered around Raelyn, ready to spring into action at any moment.
- As Dominic observed such a tense situation, his face showed some unease. “Raelyn, perhaps we should let it go? We live in a society governed by law. They can't really do anything to me...”
- Before Dominic could finish his sentence, Raelyn cut him off with a fierce shout, “Shut up! You're my man. If I can't even protect my own man, what's the point of it all? Just stay quietly by my side!”
