Grandma was easily persuaded, and upon seeing her happiness, Michael gradually calmed down. In Michael's heart, his grandmother held a significant position. From childhood to adulthood, she had loved him the most, which is why he respected her above all else. Regardless of her actions, Michael never blamed or complained about her.
Meanwhile, Jasmine, who had been kicked out by Michael, had not actually left yet. She continued to wait in the hospital garden, hoping for an opportunity to visit his grandmother. She wasn't heartless, so she couldn't easily leave the hospital just because of Michael's words. However, she also did not want to meet Michael face to face.
To her surprise, Michael called her for the first time. When Jasmine saw Michael's name on the caller ID, she even thought her eyes were playing tricks on her. She wondered if his previous outburst in front of the operating room wasn't enough, and now he was calling to continue his tirade. That was the only reason Jasmine could think of for Michael's call; she couldn't think of any other reason.
