Chapter 8

• "Are you, somehow, starting to feel something towards me?" Claire stopped eating when she heard that question from Alastair.
• Feeling something? Towards him?
• She tried to feel her heartbeat and she thought of Ruby.
• Before, every time she thinks of Ruby, her heart would beat so loud and so fast but now...
• It's not the same. This isn't how her heart would react when it comes to Ruby.
• She turned her gaze to Alastair who's staring intently at her and suddenly, she felt like her heart's in a race causing her to quickly avert her gaze.
• What the hell?
• She shook his head.
• Something inside her is telling her what she's feeling but she refused to accept it.
• It can't be. She loves Ruby. She loves her girlfriend.
• And this feeling that she feels about Alastair? It's just lust. Just lust and nothing else.
• "Claire?" Alastair called out to her a few minutes later after she fell silent.
• She looked at Alastair again and her heartbeat quickened again so she quickly looked back at the food.
• "Ahm...what...uh…can we go swimming in the sea after I eat?" She asked, trying to dodge the question.
• She won't know what to say to him.
• Yes, she likes the sex and her heartbeat also changes every time he looks at her or every time they get close but that is not enough for her to say that she loves him.
• She thought she would force her to answer his question but he just kept quiet. And even though she was not looking at him, he can feel that he is staring at her, causing her to look at him again.

• "Okay. After you finish eating, we'll take a dip in the sea. But do you want to go swimming again? Didn't you get tired of swimming yesterday?" Alastair asked while smiling.
• She averted her eyes from him and pouted. "I want to go swimming again. It's been a long time since the last time I got to swim in the sea so I wanted to take my time and enjoy it." She answered and ate.
• She secretly thanked him for not asking again. Perhaps he knew that she was not ready to answer him yet.
• "Okay. If that's what you want, then we'll swim." He said and gave her a peck on the lips which surprised her and made her heartbeat triple.
• Oh, God! This is not good!
• And as Alastair said, after she ate, she immediately got dressed.
• She wore a red two-piece bikini that she saw in the closet. She wondered if Alastair is the one who bought the clothes that are in the cabinet. And if so, why does he seem to know so much about her body size?
• After grooming herself, she immediately left the room.
• She looked for Alastair but he was nowhere to be found so she just left the house, thinking that he was already outside. And she's right. Alastair is already near the shoreline, looking at the sea, and seems to be deep in thought.
• He is not wearing a shirt. His hands are on his waist, frowning and his lips are pursed. And she couldn't help but be impressed again by how perfect his face is and even his body.
• She stared at him, from head to toe. His body is beautiful. She is sure that he frequents the gym because of his beautiful body. From his chest to his stomach, to his 6-pack abs, down to his torso.
• Alastair is one hell of a hot guy.
• And she cannot help but remember how she was able to caress his body last night. She suddenly remembered what happened between her and Alastair last night. And the mere thought of what they did that night made her go wet.
• Damn! This man had a really strong effect on me. She whispered.
• Just looking and thinking of everything they did and her body immediately reacts. But not only that, even her heart reacted immediately. It throbbed so fast and so loud as if she was racing someone.
• She looked back at his face and her heartbeat doubled. She touched her chest, feeling its strong throbbing. But she dismissed the feeling. As she said earlier, it's just lust.
• Then how do you explain that heartbeat? Why does your heartbeat so fast every time you see or even think of him? Said the villainous part of her mind.
• She struggled to find the answer to that question in her mind. And even if she does find something like an answer, she still tries to dismiss it.
• "This will also disappear. It's just because of the things he does for me and how he cares for me. And I'm sure that after a month when we part ways, this feeling will subside. I will go back to Ruby and we will never see each other again." She said, trying to convince herself.
• She sighed first before she started walking towards him. And when she got close to Alastair, he then turned to where she was. And when their eyes met, he sweetly smiled at her and held out one of his hands as if telling her to come over and hold his hand.
• She hesitated at first but it's like something was inciting her to go towards her. And she who was weak when it comes to pleasure and Alastair approached Alastair and when she got close to him, he immediately put his palm on her palm. And when their palms touched each other, he gripped her hand tightly, and then she was pulled closer to him, causing her to sink into his bare chest.
• When he let go of her hand, he immediately wrapped his arm around her waist, hugged her, and kissed the top of her head. His body was so warm and it felt so good to be close to his body that she couldn't stop herself from hugging him back.
• When Alastair felt that she responded to his hug, his hug with her tightened even more which, for some reason, made her smile.
• What did you say again, Claire? Just lust? Said a part of her mind but she didn't pay attention to it anymore.
• For there is something inside her that wants them to stay in that position. And again, she followed what her body wanted. She let him hug her and she also let herself hug her back.
• They stayed in that position for a few minutes. Just hugging and both are quiet.
• After a few minutes, she finally let go of the hug. She was about to leave but Alastair did not let her. She could no longer hug him back but his arms were still around her waist.
• She looked up at his face while Alastair bowed, causing their eyes to meet. And there he saw in its eyes that are staring at her, his eyes that are full of admiration.
• Then he suddenly licked his lower lip when his gaze landed on her lips causing her to blush. He is staring at her lips as if he just saw his favorite dish and he wanted to take a bite. And God knows what effect its stares have on her body.
• "Don't stare at me like that." She said then bent down to hide her reddened cheeks.
• But Alastair just held her chin up causing her to look at his face again and there she saw him, smirking at her. "Did I already tell you how beautiful and how sexy you are? Damn, Claire! Just looking at your body already gives me a hard-on." He said as he lustfully stared at her body.
• Her cheeks blushed even more at what he said. "S-shut up. You're a pervert." She was embarrassed to rebuke but Alastair just grinned.
• "You're blushing. Wow! I made you blush." He said happily.
• She gave him a sharp started. "Fuck you." She said irritably as she tries to get away from him but to no avail, she could not get out of his arms that is still surrounding her waist.
• "Well, that's what I want to do now." Said Alastair as he raked a hot stare on her body. "I wanted to fuck you, sweetheart." He continued then pressed his lower body to hers causing her to feel his cock that is gradually rising.
• And she almost held her breath when he brought his face close to hers. And when their faces were only an inch apart, he whispered something to her that made her shiver in lust and excitement. "Have you tried sex in the seawater?" He sexily asked.

• Damn! Thinking that they are going to have sex in the sea excites her.
