• Claire had been crying all day but her tears still kept on flowing.
• It's been a week since Ruby took her. And for a week, she thought that Ruby and her would-be together for only a while. She thought Alastair would find her right away but he did not. A week has passed but she still hasn't seen even the slightest hope of getting away from Ruby.
