• "Wow, Vega. You look fantastic!" Ryder exclaims as I meet him at the door.
• The more I scrutinized myself in the mirror after getting ready, the more I became convinced that the outfit didn't suit me. I don't know, it just didn't feel like my style. However, I decided to put my reservations aside. I knew my choice of attire wouldn't be suitable for venues like The Knowles Hotel. Not that I hadn't contemplated it initially, though.
