Chapter 30

• Corpses and blood can be seen everywhere. Cassandra looked around and knelt on the ground. They were outnumbered, and the enemies are much more substantial. Death is ruthless. Her eyes searched for Sebastian and saw him lying on the ground, not breathing. She rushed to his side while crying; her hands were trembling. She couldn't touch Sebastian because she doesn't want to know the truth.
• She saw a dagger plunged deep in his heart.
• "Blood, hey, wake up!" Cassandra said while stuttering. With her trembling hands, she slowly touched his face. Her heart broke. She kept shaking his body, but he won't open his eyes.
