• Now that Lydia Nightstone is back with her pack, I’m going to head back to Scarlett Thunder. Cole and I have been away for too long, and I have a lot of work to tackle. I’m not looking forward to the paperwork, but that’s part of running a kingdom. There’s always an endless amount of paperwork.
• Kane is in the middle of a meeting, so I wait till he’s available to talk to say my goodbyes. Cole is feeling a little homesick, despite how he’s been enjoying getting to play with children his own age. He and his cousin Michael get along really well. It’s heartwarming to see the two boys playing together, not burdened by petty things like sibling rivalry and jealousy.
