Ava froze as she realized what she had just done. She did not even know how everything just happened; she had never thought of shooting anyone, and how she pulled the trigger was what she found difficult to understand because she had never handled a gun before. She was such a fragile person who hardly kills mosquitoes compared to killing someone. This made her realize what struggling for survival could lead someone to do.
She wanted to panic, but after remembering one of the adversaries was still with them, she remained robust and walked over to Rex.
